I think eventually, things will all come together and it won't stick out like a sore thumb so that is good! lol

I also wanted to say congratulations on your nursing degree. My sister is a nurse and my mother was a nurse and I am an occupational therapist (I stay at home now with 4 kids). I think you chose a wonderful career for yourself. I know it was a hard journey, but it will come with many rewards!

Congratulations again!

KristineLakeshore Cottage Livinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01241257844900405742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742511374036022405.post-40123050582520227632011-01-01T12:57:35.800-05:002011-01-01T12:57:35.800-05:00Hey Jess, I'm stopping by from Creative Mommas...Hey Jess, I'm stopping by from Creative Mommas with an answer to your question, I hope:)
www.acreativemomma.blogspot.com
I traced the cushions for a pattern. I also used piping. After I covered the piping, I sewed the pieces I had cut, with the piping between, and then turned them right side out. (I left a side open so the I could turn it right side out and so I could put the cushion in.) Then I hand stitched the open side to close it. The previous cushions had little velcro straps connecting the the back and seat cushions to the glider. And the arm rest were connected by big snaps. I didn't use anything to connect the back and seat cushions because I haven't needed to. The arm rest cushions are just stapled to the chair underneath the seat cushion. I hope that helps. THanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Good luck with the glider!Chelseahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16634155079293564417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742511374036022405.post-89397448034145523272010-12-23T21:43:40.868-05:002010-12-23T21:43:40.868-05:00Congratulations!
